Summer! Yes!

I had so much fun this year! Going to JO Nationals again was such an honor and I had a great time! I always meet new friends there. In fact, my coach mentioned as one of my accomplishments for the year that I met 50 new friends at Nationals! While maybe a bit exaggerated, I do love to talk and meet new people! While the first part of the summer will be recovering from a sore shoulder, I am looking forward to adding new skills to my routines after my recovery.

A Great End to my First Level 10 Season

J.O. Nationals was a blast. It was so much fun meeting other people and making friends. The meet was a great experience. They had four floors!! There was so much energy throughout the competition. I finished thirteenth on beam in the Junior F age division and finished the season with a bang!

Season is now over, which means it is time to start working on new skills! I have already started twisting my Yurchenko layout on vault. I am so excited to learn new skills and upgrade my routines this summer!

Nationals here I come!

This weekend I competed at the 2017 Region 3 Championships. It was so much fun seeing old friends from Texas and Oklahoma! I even qualified to Nationals in my first year of Level 10!

Looking forward to competing in Indianapolis and cheering on my Region 3 teammates. Go Region 3!

My First Season of Level 10!

I started my first season of Level 10 in January. I have now completed four meets this season, including the Season Opener hosted by my own gym, the Snowball Express, the Metroplex Classic, and, most recently, the Pikes Peak Cup. They have been so much fun. On Friday, I competed in the Pikes Peak Cup. I had a season high all around of 36.475 placing 4th. I look forward to the rest of this season.

Looking forward to Level 10!

My level 10 skills are coming along.  I almost have my front aerial on high beam without a pad.  My gainer pike is feeling solid and I am landing my double pike pretty consistently on the resi.  2017 season here I come!
